Chainsaw Man will soon get a new anime film. According to Crunchyroll, this information was announced when the Jump Festa 2024 event was held.
In it, the series announced that the anime film Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc would be their newest project. The film will adapt Ark Reze from the original manga by manga artist Tatsuki Fujimoto. Looking at the manga, Ark Reze himself will highlight Denji’s journey when he served as a Devil Hunter. This Ark will bring Denji together with various kinds of devils, Fiends, and new colleagues who will later work together with him.
This anime film has also released an official teaser trailer to welcome the announcement, released simultaneously with the announcement of the anime film. Based on the trailer, it seems that the MAPPA studio that worked on the first season of Chainsaw Man will return as the production house for this latest project.
Apart from the trailer, a visual teaser for Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc was also released by MAPPA at Jump Festa 2024. The visual teaser features a new character named Reze, who will later become the main character in the newest anime film. Even though important announcements have been released, there is no further information regarding this anime film.
Apart from the release of the trailer and visual teaser, MAPPA has not divulged various other details such as the release date, cast, and what plot it will feature.
